Our Dance program nurtures creativity, discipline, and performance excellence. Students have the opportunity to develop their skills across various dance styles in a supportive and engaging environment.
Our dancers showcase their talents at key events throughout the year, including our end-of-year performances and major competitions such as the Gold Coast Eisteddfod. These opportunities allow students to gain valuable stage experience, build confidence, and celebrate their passion for dance as part of a dynamic and thriving community.
CAPA has a long history with Hillcrest Christian College and utilises our facilities to offer a dedicated Hillcrest Dance Academy.

Hillcrest offers private, paired, and group lessons in a range of instruments and vocal training. With 32 weeks of tuition per year, our flexible scheduling and competitive fees ensure that students receive high-quality instruction tailored to their needs.
Hillcrest’s Instrumental Music Program is a dynamic and thriving part of our Performing Arts Department, with over 320 musicians from Prep to Year 12. Our structured curriculum ensures that students receive a strong foundation in music, with the Years 4-6 Band and Strings Programs integrated into classroom learning.
Students can further their musical journey through private tuition with highly accomplished tutors and participation in our diverse ensemble program, catering to all skill levels from beginner to advanced.

Our annual College Musical is a highlight of the school calendar, involving students from all performing arts disciplines. Past productions include classics such as “Guys and Dolls,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and “Cinderella.” Students in Years 9-12 can audition and participate in these exciting, large-scale performances, contributing to the College’s rich tradition of musical theatre.
