Our Service

Our OSHC operates in a dedicated space near the Prep – Year 2 Castle Precinct, with access to the College playgrounds and sporting facilities under the supervision of our friendly staff. We maintain a 1:15 educator-to-child ratio in accordance with the Education and Care Services National Regulations.

Hillcrest OSHC is licensed by the Office for Early Childhood Education and Care, and eligible families can claim the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) through Centrelink.

Operating 50 weeks per year (closed on public holidays and specific student-free days).

Enrolment Fees:

• One-time application fee: $27 per family
• Annual Service Fee: $27
• A Parent Handbook will be provided upon enrolment confirmation.

Cancellations:

• Casual bookings require 48 hours’ notice before 9:00am for cancellation.
• Permanent term-time absences will be recorded.

Late Pickup: 

• A $1 per minute fee applies for pickups after 6:00pm.

After School Care

Hours: 3:00PM – 6:00PM | Monday – Friday (Term Time)

• Prep students are collected at 2:40pm by OSHC educators.
• Year 1 and Year 2 students are collected from the Castle Reception Area.
• Afternoon tea is provided.
• Activities include homework time, arts and crafts, board games, and group sports.

2025 Daily Session Rates:

• Permanent Booking: $34 per child
• Casual Booking: $36 per child
